The need to assist refugees wherever they are.
This blog is being set up as a place for people to post and read about ideas for helping refugees wherever they are. My angle of approaching this is as an educator - I live and work in the UAE and have access to a lot of textbooks from the national universities. These books, both used and unused ones, could be useful for training refugees, particularly with English language learning. I also hope to ship books to developing country universities which have English language teaching and English medium content area studies.
